Virtual Events

Currently CGI is designing a live virtual event connecting Los Angeles, CA and Austin, TX with Orlando, FL to be broadcast on three digital platforms simultaneously.  The camera feeds from Los Angeles and Austin will be switched in the Orlando control room along with the Orlando studio cameras.

CGI has a long history with virtual event and video production, starting with founder Chris Berger’s involvement with a live Counting Crows internet concert broadcast, one of the first of its kind.

Additionally the CGI team has designed and produced virtual events connecting Europe with the US for a Fortune 500 merger.  All told, the CGI Team includes more than 25 sophisticated multi-platform, integrated virtual events.

Live Events

Producing world class events is great – taking your breath away is even better.   CGI does that year-in and year-out, over 1,200 live events to date, constantly adapting to new challenges in an ever-changing world.

Whether coming up with a way to drive a BMW out of a movie screen (literally), having two 5-foot bottles of Liz Claiborne perfume appearing out of thin air on stage at Disney, or creating the US Army’s first deployable battle simulation system linking videoconferencing and asset visualization data simultaneously – we fear no challenge.  Most importantly, we can make it happen in a way that’s safe, responsible, and scalable.

Our production partner network consists of over 150,000 professionals worldwide, with studios and event facilities in virtually every major city in North America and around the globe.
